These days I hardly consume any media. I got rid of TV about 10 years ago, however for the final 5 or 6 years I had a TV I would watch old TV shows from 60s/70s. Things like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, etc.
It was refreshing at the time to watch stories not imbued with all the current insidious political messages, which I imagine you notice watching vintage movies?

Its all about the story in the older movies.
There is less blatant product placement and agenda pushing.
Its just refreshing.

Well, I wouldn't watch it again but it was OK. Although, I cannot remember the ending so it must've done its job 😂 My fiance does not appreciate the fact that unless the movie is fantastic then it will put me into a coma! I rate films based on how long I stay awake!
