I have used https://lightningnetwork.plus/swaps to open a dozen channels recently and my node is routing over 1k tx a day, most via these new channels. Great site to jump-start LN. Have you used it? Would you be interested in giving a try? Why not?

As for me, I am all for zero-fee channels, not looking to earn msats this way and enjoying stable long-term channels. Although I am not really interested in using it in this stage, I like the idea very much and feel happy to see someone is working on it and helping to spread the word about LN this way.
