Cypher Space Update #3

Here we go again 🫡 testing more structured writing for this months update…
Landing: https://cypher.space Demo: https://dev.cypher.space

This months Updates:

  • PWA out of the gate
Tested some PWA modules but just needed a manifest file since all of it is already a single page app.
  • Documentation
Last month the repo was setup now some initial content of the configuration and setup instruction & layout has been added. https://docs.cypher.space/
  • Bitcoin Price Ticker 🧇
Another thing I’ve been waffling around about, the project used the YieldMonitor api, but this now has been swapped for Coinbase, first thought the idea of shipping a “pool” of fiat tickers would be more of a decentralised solution, but this complicates an order validation process and for an easier way to adapt to multiple fiats without having to go through multiple tickers. It does form a single point of failure CB down … shop down .. enless ( Maxi Setting 🧐)
  • Cart component
With a simple cart toggle and component directory it should be possible for other providers to also be integrated into the template in a sustainable way. This is still something that once a more clear requirements list is compiled out of adding a couple provider should be properly documented
  • Contact page ( also bolted on the same discord web hook )
  • Product Category and some basic filtering is implemented
  • Final Roadmap Ticket List ( In progress )
  • Product Variations & shipping rates ( In progress )
  • Tested Static Builds ( Fairly broken )

Dev Scope Update

So for the 100 time scope is getting more clear as it will be a bitcoin & lightning CMS / Shop template first. The Nostr integration will mostly focus on the long form content after making the first stable, clean and documented. Finally the template should support a Fiat or Bitcoin standard setting.

This months Dev list

Finishing up the front end the last loose ends on clearing the way for a V1
Start with the local admin UI cleanup from the Nostr integration UI and start writing the client side JS for changing the configuration objects.
See you folks next month 🫡
Looking good on the front end!
