Happy Monday!
What's something you've learned or discovered over the last week or two?
Doesn't have to be bitcoin related, although that's also welcome.
Can be anything from a fun fact to something that's helped you through a challenging moment.
Quick tip:
if it's short, leave it in a comment. If it's long, take some time to write it out, make a new post, and leave a link in the comments here! That's likely to get more visibility and zaps.
I learned that French tanks had 4 gears, 3 of which were in reverse. Pretty good joke.
Made me lol
They need at least one forward gear… in case they are attacked from behind.
Lmao
Not long ago, I learned that our galaxy (the Milky Way) is part of a cluster called Laniakea. Laniakea is made up of over 100,000 galaxies and is over 500 million light-years across.

My dad is in his 80s. He writes beautiful calligraphy on red fans. So, for all my professional life, I have always turned to him to write my colleagues’ names in Chinese whenever I need to give someone a farewell gift or a token of appreciation. I never really wanted to learn calligraphy, though. Just not my thing. But I’m quite envious of him - this is surely the means in which he contributes to the earth.
Just now, I was showering my baby when inspiration struck me. I wrote a haiku for my departing colleague within minutes. In fact, I posted it here: #522866. I have had a haiku published in the national daily before. An epiphany struck me. Maybe this is my song from my soul, my contribution to this earth. I don’t need to be envious of my dad. I just need to find my way; I’m in my 40s haha
Mine, coincidentally, is bitcoin related. Dusted off some command line skills and I have become aware of and used chantools (credit to @evankaloudis).
