I don't think the question is whether Bitcoin would survive, it is whether humans will survive some extreme event. At one point in the history of the planet, oxygen was not consumed by a majority of living beings. Oxygen increasing in the atmosphere wiped out most life on earth. This was the Great Oxidation Even over 2 billion years ago.

In terms of the Greta Thunberg theme of climate alarmism, the greatest attack vector on Bitcoin is ESG shenanigans. In all likelihood, us humans will continue to thrive as long as we have enough children (i.e., increase birth rates). Bitcoin will thrive regardless of most tail-risk scenarios.
