After reading this, I was wondering, which do you think is it going to be the first Central Bank to include Bitcoin in their reserves?
“By including Bitcoin in its reserves, Switzerland would mark its independence from the European Central Bank. Such a step would strengthen our neutrality,” Luzius Meisser, president of asset manager Bitcoin Suisse, told local media. https://www.nzz.ch/wirtschaft/nun-kommt-die-volksinitiative-welche-die-nationalbank-zum-kauf-von-bitcoin-verpflichten-will-ld.1827256
and then: Swiss National Bank Chairman Thomas Jordan spoke on Friday:
"We have not yet decided that we want to invest in bitcoin. Actually for good reasons" "Currency reserves are international payments. They have to be liquid. They have to be sustainable. And we have to be able to sell and buy them."
to me, it seems they are very interested. To say they have not decided it yet. Of course. This is very positive. Yet means that they may will soon. And the rest of statements are very bad excuses because we all know it is not a problem.
Once some central banks start buying Bitcoin, it is going to be a massive event. All the others in the world will have to do the same. We will see.
Happy stacking ! Quark
If the swiss start buying, will other EU countries start buying and holding their own reserves? If that happens, how much will it strengthen bitcoin?

Switzerland is not in the EU

Good for them. The EU does some good things with regulations, but in the end they're still using legislation, which is not the tool for the job. The tool for the job is to make people smarter.

If they sit on their hands too long, the choice will be made for them.
It's like playing a game of musical chairs.

It's like that Saifedean quote.
"Bitcoin won't be adopted like the iPhone because it's cool. It will be adopted like gunpowder: if you don't own it, you'll be its victim."

To witness the Bitcoin apocalypse, this is one of the mandatory things that we require. It's definitely huge and coming from a developed nation means that Bitcoin is ready to serve Economies.
Bitcoin is inevitable.
Thanks for the information.

Satoshi knew: the ruling class would eventually splinter towards their own interests. #Bitcoin wins. #Bitcoin is the victor.

"Exciting times ahead! The potential inclusion of Bitcoin in central bank reserves signals a monumental shift in the financial landscape. While Switzerland's SNB is deliberating, the question of which central bank will be the first remains intriguing. Regardless, the ripple effect of such a move will undoubtedly catalyze a global reevaluation of traditional monetary policies. Let's keep an eye on the horizon and embrace the wave of innovation. #BitcoinRevolution #FutureFinance 💰🚀"
