After looking into the whole financial fair play conundrum and drama Manchester City have been in for over a decade now, my opinion has changed, and I am now rooting for Man City to keep doing it's thing. FFP is just more financial regulations and unnecessary rules in the name of 'financial stability', 'protection', and 'fairness' when all it does is get in the way of the free market. It would be different if Man City were doing things that were clearly giving them an unfair advantage on the pitch, but it seems to me Man City are just playing the fiat game extremely well, working on a lower time preference than their competitors, and these governing rent seekers and the other clubs want them to be punished solely based off their jealously of how dominant Man City have been over the past decade. FFP was apparently put in place to protect clubs from going out of business, but if a club doesn't know how to properly plan financially and is reckless with their spending, let them fail! Man, imagine if someone within the Man City organization gets orange pilled, it's lights out for every other team out there, except maybe Real Bedford lol.
