Wasn't trying to imply it was a fake was just curious as to how they went about authenticating a hand written sign was the correct hand written sign.

I bet they made the guy sign legal docs backing it among other legal things that would tie it. Plus you could compare the images from the broadcast with the paper in question!

Of course, you can see that it is done on a legal pad. So everything is legit.
