Yeah, home prices and rents are starting to come down, but not enough to offset the higher interest rates on mortgages.
They might be cooling a bit, but they rose to double during covid. With inflation, many people cant even save money anymore. Its rough out there.
Good point. Home prices were moving back towards their long-term trendline, but might not even have fallen that far yet. Still, the driving force of rising shelter costs is the higher interest rates.
