I'm new in Zeus Wallet, good to read this.
Zeus is my favorite mobile/lightning wallet. Its extremely powerful
Any tips for a newbie? I've used Muun (I quit for obvious reasons) and I've used wallet of satoshi, currently using Electrum and Zeus.
I believe @BTCsessions has a video on Zeus. @DarthCoin probably has a guide as well. Its pretty simple to setup.

I’m so glad I switched to Zeus when Wallet of Satoshi bailed.
Evan is the man! I have been using Zeus with my own node for about a year and a half. @DarthCoin 's guide was very helpful. I may set up a few more wallets on other devices. I haven't used the LSP yet.
The LSP works really well. Just make sure you send a very large opening transaction like most wallets. They charge low fees. Very reliable as well.

I wish Zeus full LN wallet and Zeus node management were kept in different apps.
Are alternative app stores useful in this case? Do they give more freedom to distribute apps?
Yes. But, the best distribution method is getting the APKs directly from the devs and checking the signatures yourself. This is not possible with iOS.
