I wanted to provide an update on my journey towards signing a professional football contract by the time I turn 30. For the past few years, I've been away from active team participation, focusing instead on stacking sats and enhancing my athleticism. It's been an unconventional but deliberate approach, taken with a low time preference mindset to achieve my goal.
Now, I'm gearing up to return to full-time play, armed with confidence and peak form that I've never felt before in my career. Excitement surges as I prepare to kick off this Sunday in a new league based in California—the development league and second division of the independent professional league in the US, known as the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA).
While I'm uncertain about what to expect from this league, the team I'm joining shows immense promise. Comprising a blend of young talent and seasoned ex-professionals, the team boasts a remarkable attitude and unity.
In the short term, my focus is on delivering my best performance this season and capturing quality footage to update my highlight reel. Additionally, I view this opportunity as a chance to immerse myself in the culture of amateur and semi-professional football in the US, having played most of my adult career overseas.
As my playing days gradually wind down, I'm setting my sights on a new ambition: establishing and owning my own football club in the States. This endeavor aligns with my passion for both football and Bitcoin, and I see immense potential for growth and advancement in both realms within the US. Thus, I aim to merge my two passions by owning a football club that champions both. While there's still a journey ahead, my heart is firmly set on this path.
