Narrative violation for all of the Elon haters...

reply

wow, i didn't expect this.

haha that is a joke. They might have the lowest maintenance and repair costs because it is under warranty, but trying to get the sheet metal fixed is hard. And I also know it is hard to get your tesla serviced.

from personal experience?

They might have the lowest maintenance and repair costs

also the lowest fuel costs

reply

this is definitely not true.

my neighbor had a minor fender bender and the entire body needed to be replaced at a value greater than the car because of "battery warping" so his car was "totaled" by insurance

reply

sounds like it was not a “minor fender bender”

reply

gas is still cost less. Owning a tesla in the long run will cost exorbitantly more.

It’s a step in the right direction no doubt. Now run it based on mileage. Thats what matters. Cars with 5k miles per year should run brand new for a long time.

"move fast and break stuff" says otherwise. They just recalled a bunch of cybertrucks. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/usa/uh-oh-tesla-has-recalled-every-single-cybertruck

reply

how does it say otherwise?

the customer is not paying for the cybertruck part replacement.
