Switched my Bitaxe Ultra to Braiins pool. Had a few hick-ups in the first days.
But lightning payouts work like a charm.
Unfortunately, my electricity costs (32cent/kWh) for my Bitaxe are around 150 sats per day atm.

My S9 running at half the wattage is earning me 1200 sats a day on average while heating my house. My energy cost is 0, i'd buy a bitaxe for solo lottery mining.
Lightning payouts will be a game changer for small pleb miners I think.
Waiting for Ocean to do something like this too!
I tried to do the same but it wouldn't let me use my zbd address somehow. Not sure if I did anything wrong. Back to solo mining for me
Can you give more information?
Would it not let you enter the address and save Or did just not pay out to the address?

So cool! I did not know you could do this! I've been waiting months at a time with my s9is to get payouts with a different pool. After this next cashout, Braiins gets my hashrate unless I can find a smaller pool that does this.
https://lincoin.com/ also does lighting payments and are bitcoin-only. I think them & Braiins are the only two bitcoin only pools that offer LN withdrawals.
I’ll check it out! I feel like this whole idea is a game changer for a small time miner like me.
update: Lincoin also has support for invoicing/LNURL/ lightning addresses, Braiins only has ln address as an option - might be a factor for you as a small miner
It’s a pretty recent development, just came out a few days ago I believe
That’s awesome! I can’t wait to test it out!
I had no idea this was a thing. This feels like a game changer!
This is something to lean into!
Mining pools need to integrate lightning to stay competitive. https://www.theblock.co/post/289875/bitcoin-ushers-in-fourth-halving-as-miners-block-subsidy-reward-drops-to-3-125-btc
I thought it would have been more with all that traffic on those dates.
I think bitaxe and nerd miners are better for solo mining.
Not bad!!
