Before moving on to other things, let's all take a moment and rejoice in the Leafs 5-1 defeat in game 1 of the NHL playoffs last night. I don't particularly like the Bruins but it does bring me joy to see them owning the Leafs as usual. Let us relish this moment as we likely only get to experience it 3 more times this season.
It's NFL draft week and while we do have one more mock draft contest to complete this Wednesday as @Bell_curve has offered up the Chargers for mocking, it is time to finally settle on what the NFL draft contest will be.
Here are some options:
- everyone does a full 32 pick first round mock draft and the most correct wins
- pick the first player at each position drafted and most correct wins
- just a pick 'em with various ?s- how many QBs go round 1, how many trades round 1, which team is the first to select a non premium position (QB, WR, OT, DE, DT) etc.
Still open to other ideas if anyone has one. I also thought to do a superbowl squares kind of thing but didn't really know a good way to execute that on SN. Maybe next year.
Anyways let me know your thoughts as I will be rolling out the contest tomorrow. I am also planning to be online Thursday during the first round if anyone is around and watching we can do a live chat like we used to do for MNF.
