Trying to declutter a bit and wondering if a stack of old Archie comics is worth keeping. They were so prolific I imagine there is no value.
Any suggestions out there?
Think that everything can always have a second chance, maybe find somewhere where you can exchange them or sell them for a few cents that you then convert into sats, better than nothing, or you could just donate them, recently I had some dusty "DC Comic" ones I read them again and then gave them to some kids who were interested in reading them. And I hope that when you read them you pass them on to other hands.

Do they have any sentimental value? Maybe you can choose a couple to keep.
reply
Not really. I acquired most of them as a lot with some other comics. I was never really into Archie.

There are a handful that are worth something, though you have to go back a bit (I'm not sure there's been a major character debut since the '80s). Most of the regular ones probably aren't worth much.

What condition are they in?
reply
Conditions vary but they are well read. Some missing covers.

Don't ask me. I have hoarding tendencies
reply
Toss.
If they never sparked joy in the first place, clear them to make space for things that you will like better. Frame it in terms of opportunity cost
