With the weather turning for the better, I'm slowly starting to daydream about me and my pack larping around the woods again.
Moreover, I wanna make use of the pack and it's contents and go on my first overnighter, albeit on a campground, but nonetheless.
What's your guy's usual game plan? For me as a starter, it's more about getting comfortable, used to the miles and breaking-in my gear, but what's after that?
Especially, how do you fill your days when you're out-and-about alone?

Fishing, cooking, getting water, exploring, photography, looking at the stars, sleeping. I can normally sleep 7-8 hours at home, but after working hard in the outdoors, I can do 9 hours easy, go to bed tired and wake up feeling energized (unless high elevation, then I’m lucky to get 5 hours).

I accept that loneliness is part of having a simplified life and am happy with that, going out alone. By the way, this week i have a tight schedule with my work. So no outing. Have a great weekend.

Hm, but what do you do while alone? Especially at camp? Books? What about gear?
