I love to stack the sats. I have drastically reduced my credit card usage month on month by using sats back debit card or prepaid visa card. This is my method of stacking.
- Fold card - I am a big fan of fold card. Their gamified sats back is amazing. However, I don't get more than average 1% - 1.5% sats back on purchases. I typically put some money from my paycheck to fold card every month (not more than 50% of my average monthly spend).
- Using strike app - Strike app offers permanent 5% cashback for bitrefill purchase and filling up Pay with moon virtual visa card. Top up another 50% of my monthly average spend with moon visa card using strike lightning. Strike gives me 5% cashback in dollars. Moon virtual card is now compatible with apple pay, just include your moon pay in your iphone. Tap to pay wherever merchants accept apple pay.
- bitrefill cashback - Use strike app to pay bitrefill gift cards using lightning. Strike provides 5% cashback instantly. Some bitrefill gitt card provides 1-5% sats back based on the merchant. Most of my amazon purchases happen through bitrefill gift card.
I always convert strike cashback as sats either creating invoice from own lightning node or coinos.io. Coinos is custodial. coinos used to offer free swap from lightning/liquid to onchain. I guess they are charging 1% fee now. I treat coinos or my lightning node as piggy bank. Enjoy!!
