With a heavy heart, I dedicate this song to a cherished friend who departed this world yesterday. He held a deep love for the music of The Mission, and his passion for their sound will forever be etched in my memory.

Oh you have a great music journey ahead of you. I wish I could experience listening to them for the first time all over again.
Here's another of their really famous songs.

0x you have so much fantastic music to get through.
I've heard the song "Sweet Home Alabama" before, but I couldn't remember the context, nor did I know who the authors were. Every day is a learning day, thanks 👍
I'd thought for sure you must have heard that track at the very least, it's used everywhere. But the others are also phenomenal tracks.
I often wonder how many people actually like the whole song, or if they just listen for the solo!

You Can't Dance - Rick NelsonYou Can't Dance - Rick Nelson
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YSVlZ28DIPc A little bit of country rock today!
Old school country rock. Very "the eagles" sounding, if I were to draw a comparison with something I'm familiar with.
I agree, there are definitely some similarities. Randy Meisner actually played in his band before the Eagles, so that probably helps!
That's a cool little nugget of fun fact.
Harry Mack never ceases to amaze me. This is some next level shit.
view on youtu.beHe is definitely impressive. How does his mind know what to say. He has a great memory also. With some baseball players, he took down like 10 topics to rap about and he remembered them in order.
I think a lot of it is practice. He said he's been doing off top freestyle raps since he was 12. He's also a jazz drummer, so the rhythm, flow, and cadence part just comes second nature to him and he doesn't need to think about it, and he can focus on finding the words. And yes, very good memory indeed.
I watch a lot of his videos, but this one is quite next level, because there are so many nuances that he has to hit and he has to stay on topic. When he's given words to rap about, often times he go and say how dope he is or how bad other rappers are, which I think are his filler bars; he can't do that in this one. Having to stay on topic and hit each specific detail point given by the prompt is completely insane.
I've been really enjoying stuff of Hozier's new album. Can't go wrong singing about whiskey neat and black coffee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aezstCBHOPQ
Yeah me too, this new album is really good.
Some Spanish hip hop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djhFgEy35S0&pp=ygUceXVjYXRhbiBsYXMgbmlueWFzIGRlbCBjb3Jybw%3D%3D
This is cool. It's got a really dark vibe. And although I have no idea what they're saying. That flow from the female rapper was 🔥🔥
