Very interesting. I don’t like noise canceling headphones because they always give me a headache. It probably doesn’t help that the office I work in pumps in white noise that also gives me a headache. So the noise canceling doubles the issue.

Also every time I hear about noise canceling headphones I think of that story from Reddit where the guy had noise canceling headphones and his wife was being attacked downstairs in his house and he didn't hear her calling for help.
