The NBA play in games start tonight. I saw the Pelicans were slightly favoured in their matchup against the Lakers. Does anyone actually believe the Pelicans can win? When I saw this last night, I wanted to make a bet so I looked into nitrobetting which allows you to bet anon with Bitcoin but they don't have lightning deposit and withdraw and the minimum deposit is 5 mBTC (1/1000th of a bitcoin for those of us that don't pay attention to anything but sats) so I didn't bother. I wanted to bet 50k sats on this game not 500k.
We definitely need a LN Markets style product for sats based micro sports betting.
I should have done this earlier but since people zapped me so many sats yesterday on my SN Invite Link post, I should give some away. Lets do a pick 'em for the NBA play in tournament. I will post that shortly since we are on a tight timeline.
SN has announced, former Texas Ranger and Los Angeles Angel, (and mlb all star) CJ Wilson will be doing an AMA today. Hope you will all join. I am really looking forward to this and I know everyone wants to talk to him about Bitcoin and sports so I will try not to ask him too many baseball questions. Try.

Tier 3 needs. Punter. Kicker.
I've used 0.5s purely because we've picked up some FAs that we can roll with for this season but we should look to the future at the same time. The tier 1s are things we have a glaring need at and haven't added any free agents.

Pelicans did beat the Lakers once this year. So I guess anything can happen but I would be shocked if the Lakers lose.

Zion was a beast tonight. I also thought the game wouldn't be so close, that the Lakers would blow the Pels away with a commanding lead. I guess I was wrong.
In other news, they lit the beam in Sacramento tonight. Kings was the team that had the commanding lead and dominant win tonight. Can we finally officially say that the dynasty is over?

I was wondering about that. I'm sure they're going to shed salary this summer, but would it be possible to bundle Paul, Wiggins, and picks to trade for a cheaper talent upgrade?
Steph, Klay, Draymond, Moody, and Kuminga still might be something they can build around.

I think Klay is done. Too inconsistent to win with him. You can't play over 30 minutes in an elimination game and have zero points. Steph's window is quickly closing too, not enough time for the young guys to develop enough to go deep in the playoffs, or even make the playoffs. Then Draymond is just a complete wildcard that you don't know when he will get himself ejected. That core is done, it had a good run and brought 4 championships. Break it up, trade for picks, and rebuild. Let Steph have some veteran influence on the young guys before he retires.
