As I'm doing all this, I've adopted a mentality of "I am serving my family".

This is very wise. And it's all we've really got in this life -- to find meaning in our acts, to find a vantage that transforms some kind of stupid fucking toil into something sacred. I'm so hungry for that. I'm glad you can get to that place, even if only sometimes.
