today during a conversation with my friend, we are Brazilians and because of this the screenshot of the conversation is in Portuguese, I was talking to him about an opportunity, a venture that was gaining momentum and visibility not only in my city but in the most remote region from my city and that I often need to travel, and I invited him to join this venture because he is an intelligent guy and his response was simply "I don't have enough time for college" so I thought what do you mean he doesn't have time To make money, in the end, this is the final objective of the college, in addition to passing on knowledge that in the end is to generate a profit... and then I said "bro college is a real life tinder" and he said "bro I'm starting to know that too" the goal of college isn't even what most expect unfortunately! the 4 years that you sit there in the chair and take a bus is the time that the guy who sat at the back of the high school classroom is building a technology company and traveling to other cities, closing partnerships and taking new equipment to partners, that's everything is very simple to understand, it's something so basic, but this belief has been implemented and preached for generations to the point that the obvious, the logic that makes the most sense is the path that people should not follow.

When people are on a track that they’re told leads somewhere safe and they want to be safe, they don’t want to get off. Even if the track will always be there to go back to, they’re afraid they won’t be able to find it again.
There are plenty of adventurous people out there. You just have to find them.

what strong words! You're right, sometimes they choose to live in the now, but this choice of "now" sacrifices the entire future!
