If you want to connect your wallet to BTCPay Server you need an LNDhub enabled wallet or own node. With a NWC connector BTCPay Server becomes accessible to users from multiple wallets that support the NWC protocol, as well as making it easier for people to connect their own node to BTCPay Server. Furthermore NWC allows users to set budgets for app connections and thus increases the security for connecting their own wallet. This bounty is looking for a bounty hunter who implements the app-side of the NWC protocol so that users (e.g. merchants) can add a connection string from their funding source (Umbrel, StartOS, Mutiny, Alby, etc.) to BTCPay Server.
