This may be old news to most veterans here, but I found this template for arcade buttons here: https://alvarotrigo.com/blog/css-round-button/
It's number 6 in the list in that link. I don't use compass, so I used it as a loose template for adding a similar button in a few of my projects. Here are some of my implementations of it:
