If you look at Germany these days, you have to scratch your head as to what has caused the Germans to damage their own industry so badly. The recently published truck performance index indicates that Germany has been in reverse gear since 2018. This is a leading indicator for the economy and it does not show that the eurozone's largest economy is moving upwards again in step with the global economy. Given its overregulation policy, the highest taxation among OECD countries and the ongoing migration crisis, as well as the demographic trap into which the country with the largest social sector in Europe has fallen, it will be difficult to compensate for the social problems with economic growth in the coming years.

Everyone is having a slight recession.
Its not just Germany.
Eventually things will pick up, but I do recall hearing migration problems in Germany.
They will sort it out, they have been through a lot.
They were able to pick themselves up after WW2.
