I'm sure there will be a flood of eclipse photos here in the next few days, but I thought this one I got was pretty unique. I was just a fraction of a second too late with the burst I took, because this was the only one that had the plane! It was pretty cloudy most of the time, and I had no clue it was there until it was crossing the sun!

Man, this is cool. I feel a bit jealous for everyone who could see it. It was too cloudy in my area to see anything.

It was very cloudy up until about a half hour before it started, and we got groups of clouds coming through that would block it for long periods here and there. Fortunately I could do some shooting through the light clouds because there weren't a lot of true clear patches. It was still great to see, even though we didn't get totality. I was planning on driving to see it all but the area we were hoping to go to had heavy cloud cover all day.

I don't know, that one looks great! I wasn't sure how common of a thing it would be, so far I've seen a few pictures with planes.

I say yours can be titled #the invisible plane and mine #the visible plane.
That's the only difference we have in both pictures. Yours is quite good.

Many pictures are coming out. This one looks very unique and that black and white contrast makes it more stunning.

I'm glad you like it!

Thank you! Like any photographer probably knows, I have lots of ideas of how much better I could have done if I knew it was coming! But I think I got the best picture I could with the 1/2 second I had! 😂

You're, too modest. Much less than a half-second! Great job!
