I am trying to make this territory a good place for new stackers to get information. Here are my immediate plans.

Post Awards

To encourage quality posts, starting next week I plan a zap award as well as a post zap split for the top 5 posts weekly. It will be broken down as follows: 1. 2500 sats 2. 1000 sats 3. 500 sats 4. 500 sats 5. 500 sats
Posts will be judged using SN zaprank. This will start next Friday. I also will move up the cut off time to 9:00am EST (1300GMT) Friday morning. This will improve visibility in many time zones, which should make the zap split more valuable. I will post the top 5 winners shortly after 9:00am every Friday morning.

Learning Resource Page

SN will soon allow perpetual edits for posts. When this is implemented, I hope to make the Learning Resources page I have pinned to the top of the territory a better resource. I don’t want to solely decide what content to provide in this document. I would like it to be crowd sourced by the SN community. Members will be encouraged to make posts suggesting additions, deletions, or edits, and in a perfect world, everyone will give their input and discuss the issue. I will then of course use zaprank to determine the best suggestions. I toyed with the idea of using poll posts for this, but I’m undecided as to whether I think this makes sense. If anyone has ideas on this I would appreciate any input.

Fantastic idea to help spur high-quality and educational posts to people new to the space! Crowdsourcing the Learning Resources page could be huge as it would help facilitate not only different opinions and experiences but also general issues people face in their area or region. A page/tool that is able to address these various issues would be a huge coup for everyone!
With what to include with the crowdsourcing I am of the mind that especially in the beginning high-quality posts, comments, and edits will likely really stick out and so Zaprank should be in a great position to handle this. When it comes to more specific or unique things though I can see how that might be something people aren't likely to zap so it doesn't get the attention or consideration it deserves. Maybe every couple of weeks make a post that has people comment on their post, edits, and comments with a couple of sentences on why it should be added or addressed? Polls seem to be real hit or miss from what I have seen.

Very good input. Thanks. I agree with regard to specific areas where they may only be a few knowledgeable stackers who would be qualified to teach the topic

Yeah just spitballing here but I am US-based and the person who told me about this space and referred me was @cryotosensei who is based out of Singapore. While I might have something that works for me it might not for him and vice versa. I think getting that type of knowledge to one place would be HUGE in helping people out!

Hi there, congrats on winning Fun Fact Friday!

Noticed @BTCsessions on the MSM list. Didn't even know he was on SN. I think a lot of his content could help you create the learning resources page you are hoping for.

Yes. Great content, and he's posting more here.

Looks like it. Nice to see. There are many prominent bitcoiners that have accounts on SN but never post. I would love to see them post here more and use twitter less.

I'm in. Thanks

If polls are not that effective, why not run a bounty? You don’t even have to put up the initial capital. I realised I could have run my bounty based on goodwill zaps from Stackers. Launch a bounty, have everyone suggest topics they will like to see developed on Learning Resources & focus on a few topics as filtered by the Top feature.
Hope this helps.

I'll consider that.
