Only those with licenses will be allowed to cultivate cannabis, a farmer will have to pay $1000 non refundable and $500 for industrial hemp. This is a good incentive but the prices for license are very high for a regular farmer. The Malawi Government must revise on the same, fair prices will ensure higher production and many farmers will benefit from cultivating hemp.
