I'd love to be able to see how many stackers zapped each of my posts, with a few potential conditions:
  • I don't think that should be visible to everyone. In other words, I think I shouldn't be able to see total number of zapping stackers on EVERY post, just on my posts. I think that probably help anonymity
  • I might make sense to wait to reveal those numbers until 24 or 48 hours after the post was made, also to help anonymity.
The main insight this will provide is whether zaps consist of high amounts or high volume... And this kind of thing could help new stackers get a sense for what an average zap amount on a good post is. I think there could be other benefits as well...
The only downside I can think of is, I like how simple stacker is, and I feel like it should stay as simple as possible. But I'd be curious to hear other people's thoughts.
The feature already exist. Just hover your mouse over the amount of sats and it says how many stackers zapped you.

Hm, that doesn't seem to work for me.... I could be missing something obvious, but when I hover "75 sats" (which is what it says rn), nothing shows up.
Edit - nvm, that was just taking a while. Like I said, missing something obvious I guess
I'll leave the post up, because I think this feature could be made more visible. Would have never guessed that, but glad it's there!

ssh it’s a Secret Stacker feature.
Not really, but it could probably be more visible. @cryotosensei also didn’t know this existed in #485859.
Perhaps animating perpetually between sat count & zaps would be a nice solution (given space is a premium).

Indeed. You made me feel so pumped the other day. I feel like a horse whose blinders have been removed haha

Glad you asked this question. Glad to know I’m not the only data-mindful Stacker out here! Haha
