I wish I would get a notification when a poll I've interacted with ends... I've always wished twitter had this (they do give you a notification when something you've interacted with gets community noted which is cool).

And also very few stackers are participating in these polls, so the results means almost nothing.
If your poll is targeting 1000 users and only 10 responds, that poll is useless.

personally i find they lower the barrier for people to contribute.

rather than needing to write a full paragraph, people can select an option and be on their way.

maybe SN should surface some more polling data in the “top” menus, because i don’t think the number of comments on a poll post tells the full story.
