I used to eat the "healthy" western diet (not much sugar, no junk food, lots of fruits and veggies, whole grain and fiber, not too much meat ("meat as a condiment").
I switched recently to a fully carnivore diet and experienced a huge leap in mental clarity.
Yes, the standard western diet (full of sugar and junk food) is complete trash. And the "healthy" diet (what I ate before) is an improvement, especially in terms of controlling weight.
But it took me going carnivore to make a really significant, very noticeable improvement in just weeks, in so many areas of health. From the very important (energy level, mental clarity, mood) to the more trivial (hair going significantly less gray, no intestinal gas, lots more).
