However, if you have played with the Puppy chess grandmaster before you know it's a trap and her goal is to get you to move your king to her side of the board.
So, unless you want to concede and go outside, or spend the next 10 minutes swapping meaningless pieces (opening and closing the door with neither of you budging) you need a plan.

My dog loves this game. Usually in the warmer months she wins all the time because I just cave and take my laptop and go sit outside but it's still a bit too chilly for that. We were at a standoff but fortunately it was lunch time so she eventually conceded.
