Thank you very much for your answer, everything you say is true, the figure is high, mostly because they are people without so much qualification and fast food as you say, is a product of poor quality, I think that salary will only make them exploit employees more since they will want to hire less people to do the same work, the employees will charge more but at the cost of their free time and freedom.
Let’s not bash fast food workers.

That'll be part of it, although I wouldn't call it exploitation. A job that pays twice as much will likely require more from the employee.
We'll also see more of the most routine tasks automated.
