Sensei has always been plagued by the lack of time. But that’s because he wasn’t confronted with the Million Sats Madness challenge. To be honest, he was quite chill the entire month, doing his own thing, posting stuff that he knew wouldn’t gain momentum but still doing it anyway because decluttering. Enuff’ said.
He could no longer act cool on the last weekend of MSM. Weekends are usually busier for him because he needed to ensure the survival and engagement of his two kids. His occupational hazard kicked in, though. He preaches “never give up” to impressionable teens for a living. How could he not give his best shot during the last lap? This was unimaginable.
Time is elastic. And somehow, Sensei found it within himself to post a grand total of seven times on the platform on 31 March. But the battle was not over for him. It stretched over to 1 Apr because of the time zone difference.
In fact, MSM for him would end at an ungodly hour at 1pm on 1 Apr. It was Monday, the start of the workweek. He had lessons to deliver and deadlines to meet. How could he create content in the
midst of the workday?
Despite the constraints imposed on him, he found a way to manoeuvre his way in. He managed to create two posts and pen two comments during working hours. So amazing. He also proved to himself that when his back was shoved against the wall, he could fight back. Hard.
At 1.15pm (because that’s when his lesson ended), he checked his wallet balance and saw that he had gained about 90k sats.
What a pleasant surprise. He thought he was doomed to be in the 12th position because he was overtaken by a Stacker in the last lap. He later realised that his 9th placing was a fluke due to a bug. But alas! He already withdrew 90k sats from his wallet to settle real life issues, so he should continue to treat himself like a BOSS.
This is the story of how Sensei stacked 745k sats on Stacker News. It took him less than a month to stack the next 145k sats after 600k sats. He would continue to fight the good fight because MSM 2.0 is now underway!
