I have a copy of the original Civ for my SNES, I can't say I've played it a huge amount though. It's definitely great to see where the series came from!

I've not tried Humankind, although I did look at it. Some of the negative reviews bring up some things that make me think twice. What are your thoughts on it?

been playing CIV 1, the ortiginal, for daaays on end on my family's computer back in the (ahem) 90s :D
I love them, but yes, 5 us better than 6. And the diplomacy options just never made any realsitic sense, and got worse with VI.
Anyone tried Humankind?
