That is usually a sign of stress! My wife is a Vet Tech and she agrees. Now I’m not saying I’m definitely correct, but I would ask the vet if there is anything mild she could try.

Whether she does or doesn’t, the dog could be needlessly stressed, and I would want to know if it was my dog. If she doesn’t? Then she can disregard my comment on her own.
