I have otherwise reasonably intelligent friends who think big US corporations are raising prices to intentionally destroy Biden's reelection chances.

I love how big corporations are having secret meetings about this.

I have my doubts about their "intelligence" when I point out matter-of-factly (and politely I might add) what the true cause of inflation is and then they block me from seeing their social media posts, so I can't speak truth and correct inaccuracies. True intelligence would be to have in the humility and open-mindedness to admit that what you have believed your whole life in incorrect.

I am guessing your friends have never run a small business, managing payroll, dealing with wholesalers and vendors, customer service and complaints, business permits and fees, paying taxes quarterly, etc.
