All thanks to @grayruby. When I woke up in the morning I saw #485724 and feeling obliged, I read the news of 'Niagara Region declaring state of emergency to prepare for solar eclipse crowds'.
As soon as I finished reading, the initial words were WTF! Recollecting some seriousness, I thought how Canadians would react to such a satirical news. As I have already known that Canadians are the most peaceful and civilized creatures on the planet, I thought they would only whisper an 'eh' and move on to other stories.
Now to return the humour that @grayruby brought me in the morning, I have found that Canadians have a habit of saying 'eh' for anything they listen. The following graph will answer the rest..

Canadians Saying 'Eh' is about 89 times a minute

American making fun of Canadian 'Eh' is 899 times a minute.

If you think my calculation is incorrect, feel free to recalculate and tell your results in the comments.
Sounds about right eh?

Just wanna fact check!
Because you live in Canada, is it true that Canadian overuse 'eh'?

Not so much anymore. This is just anecdotal but I have noticed significantly less eh usage in the past decade than when I was a kid. I thought it was just a city thing. With Toronto being so diverse and having so many immigrants who would not have grown up with everyone saying eh all the time. But even when I moved out of the city to a town 2 years ago, I haven't really noticed any uptick in eh usage. I said eh to my wife last week and thought wow I haven't used eh in a non sarcastic form in a long time.

Thanks for clarifying.

Yeah it's disappointing. You get all the buildup, but it's like going to a Stones concert and they don't play Satisfaction.

What's disappointing? I didn't get that.

The small amount of times Canadians actually say "eh" in real life. I was looking for this and it's so much less.

Alright, I must say I'm not that good at being satirical and funny. But, when I feel that I must share something on SN, I do it with whatever fun I can induce.

It's like saying "que fuerte" in Spain

Thanks for telling.
