Merida State in Venezuela, belongs to the Andean region. Full of mountains, it is even the only place in the country where there were glaciers, even today one remains a couple of years away from extinction. My photos are very old, I have only visited this place 4 times in my life and the last time was 15 years ago, I have seen several of its towns and peaks, but I have not yet witnessed the glacier personally. I will leave the link to a YouTube video where we talk a little more about this beautiful place, it has some spectacular shots of the place and subtitles in English. The weather is delicious, the people are very kind and adorable, the food is delicious, the landscapes leave you speechless. It is one of the places I want to visit again and take my daughter for the first time. I want my daughter to live that experience with me just as I lived it with my parents, they are some of the best memories you have from childhood, trips, expeditions, experiences of new places with the people you love the most.
The best place on Earth IMO.

Merida is magical, one of the best places in the country without a doubt. Being in the moor, with a lot of fog, drinking hot chocolate and wearing those typical knitted gloves from there with the matching hat that says "Merida"

Super love Mérida. I even wrote a novel that takes place in that city. Half of the novel, but still.
