remember the days when you needed a contract with coinanalysis to get a real idea of movements and routes... now google will gobble this all up and will surveil all of it in a second. This is not good news.
Imo, this is good news since security by obscurity doesn't work and the same is probably true for privacy.
Over time, technology like this makes existing gaping holes in your privacy more obvious so more people are aware of them which leads to a push to fix these already existing issues.
The biggest problem with security and privacy might be that the most targeted people (think of Snowden, Assange, Satoshi etc.) are in the minority but most tech seems to focus on the average target which isn't a target at all.

Meh... the blockchain has always been public. Anyone moderately skilled person would have been able to trace txns across the network. I don't think the fact that Google is getting into the space actually changes anything
