The Japanese don’t do things by halves. Their perfectionist nature extends to the way they prepare their meals. Take for instance the day when my son was disappointed at not seeing snow.

My daughter doesn’t get left out. On 3 Mar, it was Hinamatsuri 🎎 (Girl’s Day). She got a feast depicting her royal status in our family lol.

Apparently, in Chiba Prefecture, the local futo-maki-matsuri-zushi variety of sushi dates back to the Edo period. The ingredients are laid out such that when the sushi roll is cut, an illustration appears. You can say that the Japanese cares a lot about the aesthetics of their food!

I need to apply this with my daughter more often and expand the idea, haha great, it completely surpasses me, I just got to the faces in the fruit salad
