Wonder how much this is going to cost the American tax payer.
But overall this is very cool
If they choose to go above ground the issue is maintenance, on earth track maintenance is a huge expense and now you have meteors and MASSIVE temperature swings. If you're going to spend a gazillion dollars I feel like tunnels are the only long term way forward so then it's just a gazillion x 2!
