I believe it lacks practicality. I mean, it might be feasible to save storage space on phones by running Bitcoin Core in pruned mode, but to validate blocks, it would need to remain constantly active. It's a suboptimal solution, to say the least. Run a REAL full node!

Maybe they will do it with https://zerosync.org/ But yes, you are right, it lacks of practicality, use case. On a mobile device you should have only LN wallets not core nodes.

Just like your server, you only need to spin it up once on a while when you want to use it

Also how much memory your phone must have? Is it compatible with SD cards? I don't think it can match the sync speed and space needed than a pc node.

There is an app already that allowed this on android. I think it’s called ABCore. I’ve run it some years back on my work Android A52 🤔

It might work, but I already have a hard time using it on the computer because I have to be constantly updating the entire Bitcoin blockchain, as well as on the mobile phone as well.

La blockchain complète n'est-elle pas un peu grosse pour un téléphone ? Je pense qu’il faut disposer d’un élevé dans son téléphone

It’s a cool idea, I will give it that.

Yes, I’m not sure how, but I always believe if there is a will there is a way!
