Well, machinery doesnt talk back. 
It either works or needs to be replaced. 
Im originally from Japan, came over to the USA when l was young. 
I stayed in Taiwan during covid, it was supposed to be the safe option. I got in right before they closed everything down. 
Wages are very low there, and the cost of living is really starting to creep up. I noticed it while it was there. 
I worked at a higher end school, so l got a bunch of rich brats that could barely read and write. It was just a matter of keeping face and moving them up the classes until they graduated.

Why stay in Taipei instead of venturing elsewhere? Wages are low n costs of living r high.

I’m back in Singapore now. My life plan was to teach EL all over the world, but alas I fell in love n decided to get married hahaha

I worked as a PR executive for three months after Japan. Decided that I rather have power struggles with disrespectful students than face the laptop screen the entire day
