Atlas in this novel refers to the _[Atlas mountains](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_Mountains)_ whereas in _Atlas shrugged_ Atlas refers to [Greek mythology](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlas_(mythology)). In Greek mythology Atlas is the titan that is holding up the heavens. 

_The Atlas Maneuver_ is a (spy) thriller where as _Atlas shrugged_ is a dystopian novel like _1984_, _Brave New World_, _Fahrenheit 451_ etc.
