One point I would make is that we are overusing the term "agent". To me an agent is an autonomous businessperson in cyberspace. A lot of what is being built are interfaces or just AI applications in general. We are a ways away from a truly autonomous agent in my opinion.

I am likewise guilty of this (I call it a YouTube Agent) but that is mostly to make it simple for people to understand in an environment where economy of words is crucial.
