Could be. Still, $2.15 is ridiculously low. It’s like what families including working children earned per day in the US 100, 150 years ago.
I believe that more than this number are only living in South Asia. Mostly in Pakistan, Afganistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and Bangladesh.
How is this data adjusted for inflation?
I would say it’s the International Poverty Line that is adjusted for inflation.
