Here is a cool lightning ATM project being run out of Europe: https://www.bleskomat.com/
Poker is has been 20-40% of my annual income over the last 5 years or so. I treat the game very seriously and I abide by strict bankroll management rules in order to ensure I am always able to play. Currently, I have a players bank at the casino in cash, the amount varies anywhere between 4-10k. I feel this is safer than walking around casinos and parking lots with thousands in my packets or backpack, but soon it will be much safer. If there was a lightning network ATM at the casino I could keep 100% of my poker bankroll in bitcoin. When lightning ATM's become standard in casinos around the world, I will be able to move freely throughout the world just because of bitcoin and the cultivated skill of beating poker. As long as there's a game to be had that is :P
The poker pro lifestyle and bitcoin intermingle so beautifully. It has already made online poker better. Before I was a bitcoiner, I would wait six weeks for checks to come from AmericasCardRoom but now I can flow in and out of any online casino at ease. I think the same is coming for casino poker as well. It's inevitable that someone will realize how easy it would be to run a bitcoin brick and mortar casino; poker, tables, and slots alike. Traveling for poker is so much fun and sometimes necessary to break up the monotony of grinding away at the close local casino and bringing your bankroll with you is always a little nerve racking. Soon it will be a breath of fresh air. Bitcoin is giving different types of freedom to different types of people in all different parts of the world. I just wanted to share a bit with you a potentially new bitcoin personal use case.
