I think you are right, but I would point out that whoever is in first place by definition has an estimated over 1M sat earning.
I take the estimated earnings to merely be a reflection of that rank's share of the total prize pool. It only reflects one's engagement insofar as engagement plays a role in rank.
If SN affiliated accounts don't show up on the leaderboard, then yes, there is at least one dark horse who must be a serious badass at zapping...
If you look at top posts by week or month, there aren't any unaccounted for names besides the ones already mentioned.
There are a two other people I can think of who are in hiding and who might be in the top 10, but I'm still a little puzzled.
I can only see two people who could be on the leaderboard. There are 3 missing and I definitely can't guess who they are. This is much more fun this way. AHAhahaha
I think that's basically correct, but I wonder how they're excluding themselves.
One option is to just slide everyone up the rankings as you describe.
It would be more complicated if their posts, comments, and zaps are excluded. That would change where we all rank on each of the separate score components and could potentially change our rankings with respect to each other.
