The loss of aesthetics in the architecture of urban life is emblematic of postmodernism. The brutalism on display at this time is also a symbol of the growing power of the public sector over the former sovereign, the increasingly taxed slave citizen. Cold, faceless and contourless coldness, faceless and contourless architecture is an element of socialism, born of the uniformity of thought and the modesty of economics and more recently perfected by the decline of Western, formerly liberal culture. It will take more than one generation to remove these stains from the soil of a newly sprouting liberal civilization.

I wanted to be an Architect when I was a kid. I used to draw really good floorplans as a kid. Then I started experimenting with CAD software, and ended up taking 2 tech drawing classes as well as a residential architecture class in HS. I decided to skip the dream though. God had other plans for me. I still love to draw sometimes. These designs are really good!
